Also, I've noticed that some people do not realize that I am a girl, so don't accuse me for "fanboying". No such thing. By the way, my name is Chloe.

   FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  1. Can I use so and so image? Please use the terms of use.
  2. No I won't scan something specific. Go buy the book yourself and do it for youself.
  3. Image sizes, what you see is what you get. Complaints? Go buy the book yourself and scan it yourself OR pay for a upgrade in my webhosting. Bandwidth isn't infinite you know...
  4. Corners or sides of scans being cut off? Sorry, but I will not ruin the binding of the book for you. Again, complaints: Go buy the book and scan it yourself. Easy as pie.
  5. Where can I get these artbooks? Please read the shopping guide.


 

   SITE INFORMATION

  • Why? Because I'm tired of the usual videogame character designers. Tetsuya Nomura, Yoshitaka Amano, Hyung Tae Kim, and so forth. I have nothing against their works, I think they're quite nice. However looking at just their work is a bit boring don't you think? Well, here is to help expose people to other amazing videogame character designers.
  • Tsuchibayashi-san? When I first saw Tsuchibayashi-san's artwork, it took me a while to learn to appreciate it. Then it became an addiction. This is a result of it? It started with Sengoku BASARA while I was looking through things at a site i'm staff of, then came my interest with the Devil May Cry series.
  • 四季色 / SHIKIIRO? Nakama helped me name this site. At first I thought that Shunshoku (Remove "Shiki" and replace it with "Haru", the kanji for spring) would be a nice name but I was a bit iffy with it. Asked Nakama if she thought of "Shunshoku" when she viewed Tsuchibayashi-san's art and she said that it was more Autumn like. So why not find a word that will suit all seasons. Thus, "Shikiiro" this came to be.
  • DESIGN I didn't want to take away anything from Tsuchibayashi-san's art so I went as minimalistic as possible. This is optimized for the latest Mozilla Firefox, but also works on Internet Explorer. Doesn't look that nice on IE, but it's not my fault you haven't "converted". I've been a avid Mozilla FireFox user since before they changed the browser's name to "FireFox". Design was coded from scratch using notepad and I'm proud to say that it only uses two images.
  • TECHNICAL STUFF I use a Dell All-In-One "machine" which I got for free (many years ago). And this proves that you don't need a fancy expensive scanner to scan nice things. All the images which I scanned myself were scanned at 300dpi and was resized with only two scans needing minor editing. Rules for scan sizes which I set for this site is that the maximum width for an image is 1000px and height being 800px.
