About the Layout
The layout uses a sketch of Lezard's Valkyrie Profile status portrait and some other art from Valkyrie Profile Material Collection. I think I was trying to portray his, er, colorful personality? I really don't know, I went through five of these layouts but my computer kept eating them. I used Adobe Photoshop and it was coded by hand in my lovely text editor. Any questions about the layout can be directed to Alex.
"He Who Asks for Ruin"?
He Who Asks for Ruin is a product of the combination of two minds which shouldn't have been brought together. To make a long story short, the following was an actual conversation which occured on October 19, 2006 between Alex and Chloe
Alex: LEZARD
Alex: LEEZZZAAARRD.
Chloe: LEZZARRDD!
Chloe: LAZZARRDD
What became of that that conversation? A fanlisting and a character shrine dedicated to Lezard Valeth. Why we chose Lezard is simple. He has glasses, he has a cape, a cravat, fights with a book, bleeds sparkles, and is full of time traveling awesome. Need not mention that he's a necromancer?
As for why this site is called He Who Asks for Ruin, it is actually his name as the final boss in Valkyrie Profile 2. We saw that it fit his character, therefore we decided to use it. As for why the subdomain isn't "Lezard", we thought that "Valeth" sounded better...
